The Kind Soup Care Score

KS0 means after.

You did this until the end. It does not show up on a scale of hours any more, and it was not nothing. You are still one of us.

What somebody at KS0 is doing

If somebody told you this is their number, this is roughly what their week looks like.

It measures the work, not the illness

The Care Score is 1 to 10 for how much care somebody is actually giving. Two people looking after someone with the same diagnosis can be at KS3 and KS9, because what separates them is hours, nights, whether the person can be left, and whether anyone else helps.

KS0 is reserved for people who cared for somebody until they died. It is not a diagnosis and it is not medical advice.

The whole scale

One above is KS1, Occasional help.
